Mobile Crisis Intervention (MCI)
Who it's for
We offer immediate support to people of all ages who are experiencing a mental health or substance use crisis, or who may be at risk of hurting themselves or others. Access is flexible - you can come to our office, or our mobile crisis team can meet you in any safe community location that works best for you.
How to access
Call toll-free at 1-800-528-4890 or directly at 617-774-6036 to get help. Our trained crisis team can come to you - at home, at work, or anywhere in the community. Same day or next-day help is available.
What to expect
Our caring team will assess your needs, help you feel safe, and connect you to ongoing support. Our goal is to help you through the crisis in a safe and supportive way.
Community Crisis Stabilization (CCS)
Who it's for
This program is for adults (18 and older) who are in a mental health crisis and need short-term, round-the-clock support, but do not need a hospital stay. It offers a safe, supportive place to stay for people who need more help than can be given at home, but less care than a hospital.
How to access
Admission is decided after an evaluation at our CBHC location. Most people stay 3 to 7 days and receive 24/7 care and support to help them feel safe and stable.
What to expect
You will stay in a safe, supportive setting focused on helping you through the crisis. If needed, we help with medications, and offer individual and group therapy. Before you leave, we will work with you to create a care plan and connect you to ongoing support in the community to help with your recovery.
Who We Serve
Our doors are open to everyone in the community. We provide compassionate care regardless of age, background, or ability to pay.
