In-Home Therapy is an intensive therapeutic intervention designed to stabilize families in crisis in order to reduce risk of inpatient hospitalization. In-home therapists provide structured, family focused, strength-based, services to children and/or adolescents.
In-Home Therapy is a wrap-around model of care and pairs each master's level clinician with a bachelor's level Therapeutic Training and Support worker to jointly address the needs of the family.

How does the IHT program help?
In-Home Therapy may be provided in the home, foster home, and other community settings to help families:
Social & Emotional Skills
Improve problem solving, limit setting and risk management/safety planning.
Family Strengthening
Build skills to strengthen the family and improve communication.
Community Resources
Identify and utilize community resources.
Natural Supports
Assistance in developing and maintaining natural supports (e.g., extended family members, trusted friends, community members) to strengthen the youth's support network and promote the sustainability of treatment gains.
The Therapeutic Mentoring (TM) program is in addition to therapy and gives children and adolescents extra support to practice skills both at home and in the community. TM's work with children and adolescents on goals set by the therapist, family, and themselves.

IHT is designed for ages from 3 to 21 and families who require intensive family support, behavioral health services, or are at risk of placement. We center on the strengths and needs of the entire family unit.
